The Village of New London is offering the following municipal equipment for sale at internet auction through Govdeals.com.

2013 Ford Explorer SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 3.7L V6 DOHC 24V.

This is a former patrol vehicle used in a small municipality, never used for interstate enforcement. It will come with misc. equipment such as the cage/dividers, computer stand, gun mounts, push bumper, center console, spot light, etc. Outside of needing new tires and a battery, there are no known significant mechanical issues but keep in mind it is an 11 year old vehicle and handles as such.

The overall condition is average with tears in the driver side arm rest and seat. It also has a dent in the tailgate and some minor scratches and paint chips. The body otherwise presents well with no real rust or corrosion issues. This vehicle has never been in a crash. While in use, it received routine maintenance, but has been out of service for approximately 18 months. This vehicle will be sold as is with no warranty. The winning bidder will be responsible for payment and pick-up.

2014 Ford Taurus SEDAN 4-DR, 3.7L V6 DOHC 24V.

This is a former patrol vehicle used in a small municipality, never used for interstate enforcement. It will come with misc. equipment such as the light bar, window bars, cage/dividers, computer stand, gun mounts, push bumper, center console, spot light, etc. It has like new tires. Please note the heat and A.C. unit are not working (likely a bad blower motor), there are no other known significant mechanical issues but keep in mind it is a 10 year old vehicle and handles as such.

Note: This vehicle was involved in a crash at approx. 5,200 miles. All damage was fixed by a Ford dealership using OEM parts.
