The Village of New London is working with OHM Advisors and is asking residents to please fill out LMI (Low to Moderate Income) surveys when you receive them in the mail. They are coming from OHM Advisors and it is not a scam. These surveys help the village receive grant money to put towards projects to make our town a better place to live. These surveys are generated by random selection and not every resident will receive one. Honest feedback helps shape better decisions, stronger communication and more effective support for everyone involved. Participating also shows that you care about the future and success of the community. The more people who contribute, the more accurate and meaningful the results become. Every response matters, and even small insights can lead to positive changes over time. We understand that your income is private and in no way is the village attempting to breach your privacy. The survey only asks for three pieces of information which are:
1.) Your address
2.) Your household size
3.) Your household income range
It is not necessary to put your name anywhere on the survey.
The village is currently trying to obtain a grant through C.D.B.G. (Community Development Block Grant) to replace aging fire hydrants and to pave streets within the village. These LMI surveys are a crucial part in the application process for the grant. Without these completed surveys we cannot be awarded the grant.
It takes the whole village to make improvements and right now we need your help. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office at (419) 929-4091
