Important Village Sanitation Announcements​

Dear Residents,

The Village of New London would like to inform you of an upcoming street paving project scheduled to begin in May. The project is expected to take approximately 30 days to complete, weather permitting. The following areas will be impacted during construction:

Grant Street (from West Washburn St. to West Hooker) And West Hooker to North Main.

All of Cedar Street.

All of Williams Street

All of Clyde Avenue

All of Daisy Drive

Euclid Road starting at the New London Reservoir to 2235 Euclid Road.

During this time, residents may experience temporary inconveniences including limited access, lane restrictions, and construction-related noise. Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions and complete the work as efficiently as possible.

Please plan accordingly and use caution when traveling through construction zones.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our roadways. If you have any question or concerns, please contact the Village office.

  • one time dump not to exceed 2000 pounds

  • dumpster size: 6 cubic yards
  • additional dump fee of $65.00 per dump

Additional fees:

• • Excess weight (over 2000 pounds) the overage will be charged at a rate of $83.26 per ton in town and $94.54 per ton out of town and weight fee of $14.00 will be added
  • Overweight or prohibited items may result in additional charges

Garbage tiers

Garbage Tier Application

                                                                                                             
Senior Citizen - $18.90 per month

• Household 65 years and older
• Titled owner and current occupant of premises
• Allowed 1- 35 gallon can or 2 bags per week

Ultra-Light - $25.00 per month

• Allowed 1 – 65 gallon can ( provided by the Village)

Tier 1- $27.75 per month

• Allowed 3- 32 gallon cans, 6 bags or 1- 96 gallon can.

Tier 2- $28.57 per month

• Allowed 4- 32 gallon cans, 2- 96 gallon can or 9 bags.

Tier 3 - $29.42 per month

• Allowed 6 – 32 gallons cans, 3-96 gallon cans or 12 bags.

Out of Town residents assessed $1.07 additional fee per month

All trash and cardboard must fit into the allotted can. Anything outside of can is subject to an overage charge per item.
A 35 gallon can, 65 gallon can or 96 gallon cans may be rented from the Village at an additional charge of $1.00 per month
