New London local parks is composed of three areas: the New London Recreation Park made of 70+ acres, the New London Reservoir Park and the New London Campground which both share 330+ acres. Our park system is open year round and allows for many recreational and sporting opportunities for area residents and visitors to our community.
Police Department
Law Enforcement Oath of Honor: On my honor, I will never betray my badge, my integrity, my character, or the public trust, I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions. I will always uphold the constitution the New London Community and the New London Police Department that I serve.
Fire Department
The New London Fire Department is owned and operated by the Village of New London. They are contracted to provide fire services for New London Township, Fitchville Township, and the southern half of Clarksfield Township. They employ 27 volunteer firefighters. The department operates with 2 engines, 1 tanker, 1 light rescue, 1 mini pumper and grass truck.
Sanitation Department
The New London Sanitation Department performs a valuable service to communities by collecting garbage and removing it to proper disposal areas such as dumps or landfills. Our great sanitation workers make sure neighborhoods, streets, and public areas stay clean. They are able to do this by disposing of trash in safe, effective, and environmentally friendly ways.
Zoning Department
The Zoning Department enforces the zoning code and property maintenance code for the Village of New London. Other responsibilities of the zoning department includes: the issuing of residential and commercial zoning permits, the maintaining of the zoning map, and reviewing site plans.
